Hi all
Last night I attended a meeting of the Kalgoorlie Boulder Community Fair Committee. They have requested we put to our members and anyone else whos interested to bring their cars along for the Community Fair, to be held next weekend 19 & 20 March as a display for the Club.
All cars of any shape and size are welcome, entry is the usual gate fee of $15, season passes are available up to Thursday 18th are $15 and allows you access for both days, otherwise its $15 at the gate per day.
We will be situated on the grass in the oval and have as much room as we need. Cars will be required to be there by 10am both mornings, and will need to be gone by 10pm Friday and 8pm at the latest Saturday (for the fireworks). Cars can be left over night as there is security patrols, however they understand if you wish to take your car home, alternatively you are welcome to camp with your car if you wish. Clint and I are looking at being there all day for both days to watch over the cars if people need to work etc, sell merchandise, drinks, give out flyers for the motorshow etc, however anyone is welcome to join us (PLEASE DO!!)
The committee has said we can conduct a bbq if we wish, however there will be a lot of other food stalls there so this may not be viable.
The fair will have the usual rides, showbags etc, and the Monster Balls will also be there again this year, along with some monster blow up slides and jumping thingys and a bucking bull! (check out www.monsterball.com.au)
If you are working and wish to arrange to have your car there, please let me know and we can organise something to help you out!
Cheers
