getting a few enquiries about cruises. When do we have another one booked?
Or does anyone want to do a semi-regular cruise-say one sunday a month!
Cruise evening/whatever!

As for a regular cruise it sounds great but in this club/town nobody commits to these things. You might see 2 to 6 people each time and they are the same people. I remember seeing only Darrly, Kylie and my self turn up for a cruise last year. I know this will most likely be taken the wrong way but I don't have the time to waste organising these for no one to show up. If there is some one who wants to take my place in the committee that has the time please put your hand up now. As I said, I just don't have the time to do these things now as my new job takes up a lot of my time and thoughts. I have been trying to have something on each month for our members and besides January I have. There are other things I'd like to organise but when you can only get a small crowd it makes the passion die a little, but I still try.

I understand where your comming from Nat. I wasn't having a go in any way,shape or form.
A group of us use to get together one sunday a month a while ago! Since I have been ill I havent kept up with it. What I suggest is that on one day a month,(same day every month!eg 3rd Sunday)at a set time,people meet at one place and organise there,where to go! No pre-organising other than maybe later in summer and earlier in winter!
If people turn up-good,if not-good. We use to cruise with as little as 2 cars and had over 10 on one jaunt.
All unofficial-no bs.

Ok. Are these people non-internet type? If so what day did you want to do it and I'll post it here for all up geeks. :)
