Coolgardie Day Cruise

Cruise to Coolgardie for the annual Coolgardie Day Celebrations.

When: 20th September.
Time: 9:45 AM
Where: Boulder X,
Depart: 10:00 AM SHARP! for Coolgardie Parade. Or stay around and meet Paul Williams the V8 Ute racer..

We will be cruising out to Coolgardie then find our spot in the parade. Once that is done we then be shown where to park up and enjoy the day.

Nath, I thought it was decided at the last committee meting to leave from the Boulder X because Paul Williams was promoting his race ute there. I also thought we were leaving at 10.30 to be in Coolgardie for 11.00. Because of that decision I have made arrangements for Paul to meet with club members before we go. This is set for 10.00am at theBoulder X so if any members are either not going to Coolgardie Day or can spare some time before they go (maybe turn up a little late) it could be good exposure for the club. Paul is also promoting safe driving along the lines of doing your racing on tracks, which is in line with what the club is trying to promote. Would be good to show that the Street and Strip Club is not a mob of hoons but serious car people.

We needed to be in Coolgardie by no later than 10:30 to be in the parade. Then after that they will show us where to park. The details were not know at the last meeting,. They only just got back to us the other day. Which they do to us every year. I'm not sure how this is going to work now. :unsure:
I know what your saying, it was a good plan but now they have set times for us it could be a case one or the other or some here and some there.

Or we could have a handfull of members / committee members stay for the williams racing part and the rest leave around 10:00 to make it into the parade. Then the ones who stayed could hopefully park up after the parade.

yeah i think thats the general idea we were gonna go with, those that werent fussed with missing the parade, could hang around for a little, then shoot out to coolgardie, or anyone who couldnt attend coolgardie to do the PWR thing instead
