Hello Club Member.
As you may be aware it’s is nearly time to renew your membership. Along with that it is time for our Annual General Meeting (AGM) This will be held at the Boulder X on Piesse Street starting at 7:30 pm on the 15th of July 2009.
At this stage all committee positions are up for grabs. Current committee member are able to re apply but do not get any preference.
Positions for the next year are as such:
• President.
• Vice President.
• Treasurer.
• Secretary.
• Social Director.
• Editor.
• 6 x Committee Members.
To get yourself on the committee all you have to do is submit the attached to either our P.O box or hand a current committee member before the 13th of July 2009. Any nomination form’s received after this date will not be included.
If you will be unable to attend the AGM you can still have you vote by using a proxy vote. A proxy vote is where you give permission for another club member to vote on your behalf. You to do this fill out the “Proxy Vote” form and have you proxy voter bring it the AGM. No form no vote. As a club member is very important you have your say. Please make sure you vote in one way or another.
So, in this mail out you should have a nomination form, proxy vote permission form and a membership application form. Please remember to renew your membership before the 30th of July.
Let’s hope we can have a new committee full of good ideas to get this club moving forward to the new year. I’ll say it again, please make the time to attend the AGM or use the proxy vote. This club need’s your input.
I do ask only nominate if you are going to help out. Ideas are good but ACTION is what is needed to take this club forward another year.
