Condition:
Vehicle was used on a daily basis for two years so there are a large number of stone chips on nose cone and front spoiler. There are two or three "car park dents". Very hard to pick but am happy to point out.
It has the usual rust spots starting to show in the bottom corners of the doors and also in the rear guards and the rear lowermost section of the wheel arches. These are common issues with the Torana in general. The interior is tidy but not perfect. The seats have the usual couple of splits in the seat base. Rear seat is good. Somebody at some stage did fit an aftermarket stereo in the dash and as such had to cut a hole, this has been covered by a blanking plate now. The crash pad is in good order.
Everything I have done to the vehicle I had done so as to eliminate the need to cut or drill any panel, as such most modifications can simply be unbolted and reverted back to standard if required. This goes for the entire driveline. The firewall has not even been modified to allow for the distributor, it simply wasn’t necessary as is commonly thought.
Price - $40,000 ono
Pictures - There are a number of pictures in my thread in here but they are all with the stereo etc fitted. I can take pictures once all this is removed and the vehicle restored to standard condition if required.
I am stuck with dial up at the moment which makes posting pictures very slow. Here are a couple of old pictures.

The car left the factory as a 6 Cyl 4 Speed (Sorry it’s not a 5Lt SS)
I have a certificate for "Vehicle Modification Approval" from Transport Tasmania for the Chev conversion. It’s dated 3 April 1990.
This vehicle has not been re-shelled. You can still clearly see the numbers stamped into the body in the engine bay that match the plates. It’s difficult to take pictures of but I can try again if required.
This car has done a 13.2 second quarter mile in full street trim on Yoky A008-R tyres with a slipping clutch.
We put the car on the Dyno again recently and after topping the dynos maximum speed and having to resort to 3rd gear runs managed to put down 197kw at the treads and massive amounts of torque from about 2,000rpm onwards.
Slips and sheets can be produced to back these claims up.
This has to be sold as my next toy is waiting in a holding yard for me to pick it up...
The price listed is or near offer...
I believe that I have covered most things here. Please feel free to contact me to discuss anything further or arrange a time for inspection.

I will be sad to see this go as I honestly believed that I would keep this particular car forever. Small consolation is that I have another in the garage ready for restoration. I really hope that this particular Hatch can go to another home where it will be cared for as it deserves. It is a very good example for its age; it’s got some flaws as stated above, but nothing a small amount of TLC wont cure.
