Gday , my name is AL and im into Drag Racing in Perth but would love to be over your way Racing one day !!!
My old man was born in the Goldfields and I lived there a long time ago in a little dump behind the Federal Hotel.
Any info on a Drag Strip or shouldnt I ask ?

G'day Al. Welcome to our forum.

For over 5 years now we have been working towards getting a drag strip here in Kalgoorlie and although we have had all the red tape in the world thrown at us we still keep on trying.
Our main issue at the moment is finding land that we can use. We did have some lined up and was doing all the things required in finalising the deal but unfortunately that hit a dead end too. Our next step is trying to get a burn out pad going to help lift the profile of the club again as it has dropped over the years. We are what you would call a footy team with on footy oval. So attracting members is very challenging.
