All Members & Interested Parties,
The race meet on Sunday Nov 11th, is now 'Hobbyworld Enduro'.
The day will entail: a full day race meet for all classes, and a 20min
Final. Possibly longer, this depends on turnout.
There will be prizes up for grabs on the day,
Raffle
First prize is a Swallow 12/240volt charger
Donated by Hobbyworld Value $140.00
Second Prize 5lts of Fuel
Donated by Rikki & Craig Value $50.00
Third Prize $30 Voucher to Hobbyworld
Donated by Goldfields Radio Control Model Car Club
Tickets will be $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00
ALSO......For the top 6 Qualifiers for the day, The Top 2
from each
class
(excluding James & Craig, just to make it fair for you)
All six names will be put into a draw and the winning name will
win a
Sanwa MX-3FHSS Transmitter & Receiver Value $249.00

Format for the day will be
3 classes of racing, 1/8th buggy, Truggy & 1/10 fuel- electric
(possibly
extra classes depends on turnout)
Fuel powered 1/8 & truggy
5 x 6min qualifying heats
you will drop your worst heat and the four best will accumulate for
the
qualifier, the top 2 qualifiers will go automatically to the A final,
we
will then run a 10min B final for the next 6 qualifiers for the day,
top
four from this B Final will go to the 20min A final.
1/10 fuel & electric
5 x 5min heats
with 2 x 5 min finals, with the best over two rounds to win.
Drivers meeting at 8.30am, Racing starts 9.00am Sharp.It will be a
full day
of racing and fun, we would like to stick to schedule as best as
possible.We
will need some volunteers to assist with lap keeping & Marshalling
for the
finals, if anyone is interested please let me or Rikki know asap.
We would like to know attendance numbers so if we can have all peoples
registrations early to allow for set up of heats & race schedule.
Could you
please send be back the attached registration form.
We will hopefully be getting a lot of Drive by exposure due to the Go
Kart
club having their Dash for Cash meet on the same day. So all members
support
would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone is free tomorrow Rikki &
Myself
will be doing some track maintenance, so assistance would be nice if
you
can.
We also need to have a Committee meeting, Re:memberships, track
progress and
race calendar a suggested date is Tuesday 20th November at 6.00pm,
location
is yet to be decided, if people want it at our place again or at a
more
public venue? Please let us know.
