A dump leach process usually involves dumping coarse loose ore onto a leach pad (usually poly lined with under drainage systems). They dump the material onto a roadway on the liner and then it gets pushed out with a dozer to prevent liner damage. Irrigation pipes are placed into the pile on the surface, and the dump can go up in multiple layers.

There are a couple of places that use that technology - I think Telfer and a couple of local Goldfields.

Essentially the job would usually entail keeping check that the leach solutions are coming out of the poly pipes into the dump properly, checking the dump launders and liner, and a heck of a lot more. May even have some earth moving requirements/skills depending on what site it is and the scale of the leach project.:unsure: :huh:
