P.S Just to clarify that when I say couple of KM's from Kal I mean from the center of Kal i.e where the hospital and shops and stuff are..

Everything is a couple of kms away , as far as nice areas go thats about as far away form center of town as your going to get but its still only 6-7km to town center.

One of my work colleagues used to live on that road and was reasonably happy with it. The road that Killington turns off has the odd undesirable drive along it etc but yeah, she was reasonably happy living there.
Do you definately want a Brick veneer house?
If you buy in Boulder though you might find the re-sale time a little longer. The house that I used to rent in Kal sold within 3 days. A work colleague with an equivalent house, with same features, just renovated, same land size etc on a nice Boulder street, took nearly 2 months to sell and he had to drop it heaps just to sell it.
Try looking in Lamington / Picadilly area too. Prices are reasonable if you shop around at the right time and re-sale, rental values etc will be a fair bit better. Also a short walk to town centre too.

Awesome thanks for that mate...
That is exactly the kind of information I am looking for...
Will definately keep that in mind..
Although we won't being buying till we get over there I want to have as much knowledge as we can so I feel more confident and comfortable about purchasing a house when we do get over there...
Thanks again
