Hey all...

Just wondering if anyone can recommend some where that we could stay until we find ourselves a house in Kal...

Something that is not to pricey... Maybe like cabins in a caravan park or something although so far they have been expensive...

Try Boulder Accommodation Village. They do long term accommodation whereas Kalgoorlie Accommodation Village do not.

You will not find anything 'not that pricey' really up here in Kal. Accommodation is not the easiest to find, but you will find something eventually.

The missus and I were sitting around one day with a map on the wall and a dart and chucked it... Kalgoorlie it was... do you guys have electricity there ?

Just playin...

We did a trip around oz and we loved it in WA and we did heeps of mine tours i.e Argyle, Tom Price, KCGM and I just badly wanted to drive those massive dumpsters in terms of for the experience... and from what everyone tells us we can make awesome money which you can do here in sydney but it is soooo expensive to live... you want a house here your looking at $400,000 for a dump...

We spent some time there in Kal back in January last year we liked what we saw during the time we were there so since then our plan has been to go to Kal to live and work for some time...

We were originally also considering Tom Price but it is too hard to get housing there...

Not totally we were only there for a few days...

I reckon it would take at least a few months to get the feel for a place...

And hey if everything falls to you know what we can more to Perth althought we are really looking forward to making it work in Kal..

Been here nearly all my life so we want a seachange.. All I know is Kalgoorlie and it does not have a whole lot to offer really for families. I will miss the people though Kal has heaps of great people.. But we cannot wait to leave :)

You either love the place or hate it..
